OCTOBER 6-8 • NEW ORLEANS

TechLearn 2024 Call for Presenters: March 15 Deadline

About the Proposal Process

Thank you for your interest in presenting at Training magazine's TechLearn 2025 Conference — September 17-19 in Austin, Texas.

Please submit your innovative how-to, best-practices, and solution-focused proposals on how technology empowers learning!

The Conference

Training magazine’s TechLearn 2025q Conference is designed for training and learning professionals who want to leverage the latest in elearning, virtual classrooms, gamification, artificial intelligence, simulations, mobile, performance support, social media, augmented reality, virtual reality, learning analytics, and emerging technologies to improve workplace performance.

The conference also features the co-located, pre-conference event — GamiCon — plus a dedicated gamification of learning breakout track. Any proposals that are tagged with gamification and game-based learning will be considered for that track, and shared with the GamiCon program team.

The Audience

TechLearn Conference attendees are learning professionals, representing a wide spectrum of roles, titles, and industries.
  • They come to discover how best to use technology to empower learning in their organizations.
  • They often deal with limited budgets, sometimes in IT-restricted environments.
  • They are looking for ways to better use existing learning technologies, as well as how to integrate new technologies.
  • They need help making the right technology decisions, navigating the "stuff" in the middle, and connecting the dots between in-person and virtual environments.

Who You Are

Learning professionals, consultants, and vendors from corporate, nonprofits, academia, government, and military.

Your Proposal

Your proposal should include a strong emphasis on how technology is successfully used to enhance the learner experience, align outcomes to business results, and report relevant data — and include:
  • A specific, descriptive suggested title (12-word limit).
  • Clear, concise, specific description.
  • 3-5 expected outcomes for attendees who attend your session.

The Details

  • Primary presenter receives one complimentary conference registration.
  • Up to two co-presenters receive a 50% conference registration discount. Note: Co-presenter(s) must register for the conference.
  • Training magazine does not pay per diem, honoraria, or expenses to presenters.
  • Proposals should be educational focused. Sales-oriented proposals will not be accepted.
  • If you are an external consultant/vendor, consider bringing a client as your co-presenter who can address internal considerations.
  • Up to two proposals may be submitted, though doing so does not increase the chances of being selected.
  • Proposals are reviewed by a team of reviewers.
  • Selected presenters will be notified by late-March 2024. If you do not receive an email invitation to present by April 20, consider your proposal on the standby list for later consideration if there are changes to the session agenda.
  • We receive far more great proposals than we are able to accept. If you are not invited to present your proposed session, this does not necessarily mean it received a poor review. However, because we receive hundreds of proposals for each conference, we are unable to provide further feedback about your specific proposal.

NOTE: Proposals can be saved and updated before submission. However, your entries will not be saved until the final step is reached. Therefore, you must enter something in each field before saving your draft ("test" or "TBD" is a sufficient placeholder).
